live in Weymouth, married 36 yrs, 3 grown children, grandmom of one precocious
little girl (who will learn stamping EARLY in life). Been stamping for six years.
Intro to stamps came about because of a home decorating project (stamps never
got used for it, tho!). Enjoyed the camaraderie of stamp folks so much that I
formed the Queens of Inkland, a group of six who gather monthly, do field trips,
shopping excursions, tip/technique sharing, teaching, etc. Have taught at Memory
Lane in Weymouth, private parties, secondary stamp groups. Love, love, love the
freedom of creating - everything I put my hand on means a new discovery

(my Mom!) has been doing all kinds of crafts since before I was born. I may be
a little biased here, but I think she has a knack for anything she tries. She's
a bit shy about these things and wouldn't admit it herself
which is why I've
written her bio without her knowing about it.

studied fine art and graphic design at college. I always enjoyed stamping, then
one day I discovered embossing powder
the rest is history. I left a career
of 11 years as a desktop publisher in Cambridge and opened The Stamp Act. This
is definitely the best career choice I've ever made! I hope all of you enjoy the
shop as much as I do.

is a banker of 28 years but loves stamping and card making. I first started stamping
to enhance my calligraphy and that was a marriage made in Heaven. I have been
stamping as long as I have been in banking and it is my number one passion. My
goal in life now is to devise new classes to attract new comers to the world of
stamping. Instead of classes we should call it a "card party" ...
come party with me.
