His first investment at NVP was Virtela Communications, a company he founded and of which he is still a board member. Goel went on to invest in KMV Technologies (LifeSize Communications), Inc., which was eventually sold to Logitech for $405 million.

Vab Goel currently heads up a number of other investments at NVP, working closely with Pontis, Apigee Corp., Veveo, and others. He is also a former investor in C2C Pte.
