You cannot be both for instance, you either believe in traditional medicine or you dont! Believers always try to encourage more to believe, and Sceptics encourage others to be sceptical it is our nature..
However, there is a big difference between these two groups of people: once a Sceptic explores something he did not believe in before, he might convert into a Believer.
